In this blog I desire to discuss and enlighten people to social issues that can be detrimental to the inflicted/suffering person and to his/her loved ones. I have been counselling since 2001 to present. In addition to holding a B.A. (Majoring in Psychology), I have earned the Certificate of Counselling Science (C.C.S.). The C.C.S. program consisted of 16 skills training courses which include: Counsellor Training Course; Psychosocial Development; Models of Counselling & Psychotherapy; Diagnosis & Treatment of Common Disorders; Pharmacology for Counsellors; Alcohol & Drug Counselling Skills; Sexual Abuse Counselling Skills; Individual Counselling Practicum I, II, and III; Couple & Family Counselling Skills; Family Violence Counselling Skills; Case Study Research; Specialized Approaches to Alcohol & Drug Counselling; Suicide & Crisis Intervention Skills; and Hospice Loss & Grief.
